Vision Commitment

The Board serves the constituency of the District members, and at all times in its capacity strives to: (1) lead with creativity, vision and commitment; (2) Advocate the best interests of the District and the City of Grand Junction with all stakeholders; (3) Preserve the unique character and thoughtfully improve the image and quality of this gateway to Grand Junction.

The Horizon Drive District

The Horizon Drive District — Gateway to Grand Junction® — is just off I-70 at Exit 31 and adjacent to the Grand Junction Regional Airport. This beautiful and convenient entrance to the core businesses, services, and tourism resources of Grand Junction, Colorado, exemplifies the mission of the business improvement district — to build community, enhance beauty, and advocate the economic vitality of the Horizon Drive District (HDD).

A colorful mosaic representing the free-spirited wild horses that make their home in the Book Cliffs, the area’s northernmost land feature, greets and welcomes people to the Grand Valley. Safe, beautifully landscaped pedestrian walkways guide local citizens and visitors through the Horizon Drive business park, the local improvement area that drives economic growth in Western Colorado.

If you are looking to relocate your business, consider the District’s diversity and location. The community is friendly and the business atmosphere is collaborative. You will find support for business from Mesa County government, the City of Grand Junction and the Grand Junction Chamber of Commerce. Vision and passion fuel HDD efforts to create an inclusive business park that welcomes and supports enterprises of all kinds.

Visit the District and see for yourself. You’ll feel the same excitement and freedom as the wild horses of the Book Cliffs.
